Pet Requirements
Age Requirements
- Puppies: Puppies must be at least 4 months old and have completed their initial vaccinations before joining group walks. For younger puppies, we offer puppy visits for socialization and potty breaks.
- Senior Dogs: We are happy to walk senior dogs! Please inform us of any mobility or health concerns so we can adjust the walk to their comfort level.
Vaccinations
- All dogs must be up-to-date on their vaccinations, including:
- Rabies
- DHPP (Distemper, Hepatitis, Parainfluenza, Parvovirus)
- Bordetella (Kennel Cough) recommended for dogs joining group walks or indoor play sessions
- Proof of vaccinations may be requested before your dog’s first walk.
Flea and Tick Prevention
Dogs must be on a veterinarian-approved flea and tick prevention plan, especially during warmer months. This helps keep all dogs safe and comfortable.
Health and Behavior
- General Health: Dogs should be in good health and free of any contagious conditions. If your dog is recovering from an illness or injury, please notify us so we can take proper precautions.
- Behavior: For group walks, dogs should be well-socialized and comfortable around other dogs and people. If your dog is reactive or prefers to be alone, we recommend private walks.
- Aggression: We cannot accommodate dogs with a history of aggressive behavior toward people or other dogs. If you’re unsure about your dog’s behavior, please contact us to discuss options.
Leash Walking
Dogs must be comfortable walking on a leash. If your dog is still in training, please let us know so we can provide extra support during their walk. We also require all dogs to wear secure collars or harnesses with proper identification tags.
Indoor Facility Requirements
Dogs participating in indoor play sessions must be comfortable in a group environment and non-aggressive. The same vaccination, flea prevention, and behavior guidelines apply to indoor activities.
Special Needs
If your dog has any specific medical or behavioral needs, please inform us before their first walk. We are happy to accommodate dogs with disabilities, special diets, or other unique requirements to ensure they get the care they need.
