Welcome to Pawtrips.ca. By using our dog transportation, pick-up, and offsite walking services, you agree to the following terms and conditions. Please read them carefully before using our services. These terms apply to all services provided by Pawtrips.ca.

1. Services
Pawtrips.ca provides the following services:
• Dog transportation by bus to and from designated locations.
• Offsite dog walking and exercise activities.
• Pick-up and drop-off at specified times and locations.

2. Booking and Payment
• All bookings must be made through the Pawtrips.ca website, app, or via phone.
• Payment must be made at the time of booking unless otherwise agreed upon.
• Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the scheduled pick-up time may incur a cancellation fee.

3. Dog Health and Safety
• Owners must ensure that their dogs are in good health and free from contagious diseases before participating in Pawtrips.ca services.
• Dogs must be vaccinated, including rabies, distemper, parvovirus, and other applicable vaccines.
• Owners must inform Pawtrips.ca of any medical conditions, behavioral issues, or specific needs their dog may have.
• Pawtrips.ca reserves the right to refuse service to any dog that exhibits aggressive or dangerous behavior.

4. Transportation
• Dogs will be transported in a specially designed, safe, and secure bus. Each dog will be placed in an individual space to ensure comfort and safety during transportation.
• Pawtrips.ca takes all reasonable precautions to ensure the safety of dogs during transportation. However, owners acknowledge that there are inherent risks associated with vehicle transportation (see waiver form below).

5. Liability
• Pawtrips.ca will take reasonable care of your dog while in our custody. However, we are not responsible for any injuries, illnesses, or accidents that may occur during transportation or offsite activities, unless caused by negligence on our part.
• Pawtrips.ca will not be liable for any damage or loss of personal property, including leashes, collars, or toys.

6. Owner Responsibilities
• Owners must ensure their dog is prepared for pick-up at the agreed time.
• Dogs must wear a collar with identification and a leash for pick-up and drop-off.
• Owners must notify Pawtrips.ca of any changes to their dog’s health or behavior prior to the scheduled service.

7. Cancellation and Rescheduling
• Owners may cancel or reschedule services up to 24 hours before the scheduled pick-up time without penalty.
• Late cancellations or no-shows may result in a full charge for the service.

8. Photography and Media
• Pawtrips.ca may take photographs or videos of the dogs during transportation or activities for marketing and promotional purposes. By using our services, you consent to the use of such media unless you notify us otherwise.

9. Changes to Terms and Conditions
• Pawtrips.ca reserves the right to modify these terms and conditions at any time. Changes will be communicated via our website or email. Continued use of our services after such changes will constitute your acceptance of the new terms.

This waiver is intended to ensure that dog owners understand and acknowledge the potential risks associated with using Pawtrips.ca’s transportation and offsite walking services.

1. Risks Associated with Transportation
I, the undersigned, acknowledge that I am aware of the potential risks involved in transporting my dog in a vehicle, including but not limited to:
• Sudden stops, sharp turns, or accidents.
• Potential for injury or stress caused by transportation.
• Unforeseen road conditions or external factors beyond Pawtrips.ca’s control.

I understand that while Pawtrips.ca takes all reasonable precautions to ensure the safety of my dog during transportation, there are inherent risks that cannot be fully eliminated.

2. Health and Safety Acknowledgment

I confirm that my dog is in good health, up-to-date on vaccinations, and free of contagious diseases. I will notify Pawtrips.ca of any known medical conditions or behavioral issues that may impact my dog’s safety or the safety of others.

3. Voluntary Participation
I voluntarily allow Pawtrips.ca to transport my dog and participate in offsite walking activities. I understand that offsite activities may include walking in various environments (e.g., parks, trails, urban areas), and I accept any inherent risks associated with these activities.

4. Release of Liability
In consideration of Pawtrips.ca’s services, I agree to release, discharge, and hold harmless Pawtrips.ca, its owners, employees, and agents from any and all claims, damages, or injuries that may arise during the transportation or walking of my dog, except in cases of gross negligence or willful misconduct by Pawtrips.ca.

5. Emergency Medical Treatment
In the event of an emergency, I authorize Pawtrips.ca to seek medical treatment for my dog at the nearest veterinary clinic. I agree to be responsible for any costs incurred as a result of medical treatment.

6. Indemnification
I agree to indemnify and hold harmless Pawtrips.ca, its employees, and agents from any claims or actions arising from my failure to disclose any health issues, aggressive behavior, or other conditions that may affect my dog’s safety or the safety of others.

7. Confirmation of Understanding
I have read and understand the above waiver. By signing below, I acknowledge that I fully understand the risks associated with Pawtrips.ca’s services and voluntarily agree to these terms.
