Services & Rates

At Pawtrips, we offer a variety of services tailored to meet your dog’s exercise, care, and transportation needs. Whether your pup enjoys a long outdoor adventure or a quick stroll around the neighborhood, we’ve got you covered! Below is a breakdown of our services and pricing:

Kitchener Pick Up Zone

Bus Ride Requirements

  • Harness: All dogs must wear a harness with a back attachment for safe buckling. (Please avoid ‘walking’ harnesses as they tend to slip). If you don’t have a harness, we offer new ones for $45. Leashes are not needed to avoid mix-ups.
  • Off-Leash and Recall: Dogs are only off leash at our outdoor fenced facility and our indoor facility. It is recommended that your dog is comfortable off-leash.
  • Socialization: Your dog must be well-socialized and get along with other dogs.
  • No Escape Artists: Absolutely no fence jumpers or escape artists. The lowest point of our fence is 4 feet.
  • Vaccinations & Preventives: All core vaccinations must be up to date. We also strongly recommend flea, tick, and heartworm preventives.

Weather Advisory (November–March): The shuttle service is weather-dependent during winter, and last-minute cancellations may occur due to conditions.

Will My Dog Get Dirty? Since we operate an outdoor, all-weather daycare, it’s very likely your dog will get dirty. Our outdoor facility is within mother natures boundaries so there is always a chance they get a little dirty While we try to minimize the mess, if you prefer your dog stays clean, PawTrips Bus may not be the best fit. If your dog gets extremely muddy, we’ll give them a quick hose-off and towel dry, but there’s no guarantee they’ll come home spotless.

Benefits

GPS Trackers – To keep your dog safe, each pup is equipped with an GPS tracker during their time with us. This helps give you peace of mind on every adventure.

Pawformance Report Cards – After each PawTrip, you’ll get a “pawsome” report card with your pup’s daily highlights and antics!

Locations

Outdoor Fenced Facility – Private property with lots of space for pups to run around and get their zoomies out!

Outdoor Trails  – We explore a variety of trails throughout Kitchener-Waterloo, giving your pup the chance to burn energy and enjoy plenty of sniffing along the way!

Dogs will be on leash the entire trip.

Dogrink – On days when the weather’s less than ideal—whether it’s freezing, raining, too hot, or just plain messy outside—we’ll keep your pup comfortable and active with a reserved spot at Dogrink! Our indoor facility days offer a safe, climate-controlled space where dogs can play, socialize, and exercise without worrying about the elements.

Day trips are rotated so dogs don’t get bored and are weather dependent

Times

Pick-ups – 8:45 am -10:45 am
Play Time – 11:00 am -1:00 pm
Drop-offs – 1:15 pm – 3:15 pm

Pick-Up & Drop-Off Timeframes
The pick-up and drop-off windows are intentionally flexible to accommodate variables such as weather, traffic  conditions, and route adjustments. While the exact timing may vary day to day, your dog will typically be on the bus for  approximately 40 minutes.

While you can request a specific time, it’s not “paws-itively” guaranteed, as road conditions and the number of pups  scheduled may affect timing.

Pickup and Drop-off Guidelines
To ensure a smooth and efficient pickup and drop-off experience, please note the following guidelines:

Quick Access Required: We aim for quick in-and-out home access, so homes with ample parking or easy street access are ideal for us to safely and efficiently collect your pup.

High-Rise Building Access: At this time, we’re unable to accommodate going into high-rise buildings for pickup or drop-off. If your dog lives in a high-rise, please plan to meet our driver in the lobby. Alternatively, if you’re home at the scheduled time, we’ll happily collect or return your pup directly from the building’s entrance.

Home Sweet Home Access
If you’re not home when we arrive, no worries! We’ll need access to your home, garage, or backyard. You can “paw-vid” us with a pin code or key details on your account.

Pup-Date Alerts
We’ll send you a “pup-date” with a picture when your furry friend is picked up for their PawTrip or safely returned home, so you know they’re in good paws!

Minimum Paw-sengers Required
We need a minimum of 6 dogs to “bark the bus” for a PawTrip. If we don’t hit that number, we’ll let you know that the Pup Shuttle won’t be rolling that day.

Booking Notice
To ensure smooth “paw-scheduling,” please give us 24 hours’ notice to arrange your walk. While you can try to book same-day, there’s no “fur-tantee” we’ll have room for your pup’s adventure.
